To ensure a safe environment and prevent online abuse, we have established clear standards and guidelines based on public safety, human rights, and technology. Our goal is to provide a platform where people can freely discuss important issues. Diverse perspectives and disagreements are expected, and while some content may be deemed unacceptable, valid and guideline-compliant content is allowed.
We are committed to facilitating communication while recognizing the potential for abuse online. Like other platforms, we prioritize freedom of expression and welcome participation from anyone, regardless of background, location, or beliefs, as long as they adhere to our simple guidelines.
These guidelines, along with our Terms of Service, govern the use of SpeakUpNepal.

Legal Considerations
In Nepal, social media platforms should comply with local laws and regulations related to user data protection, privacy, and content regulation. This may include providing user data to law enforcement agencies, removing illegal or harmful content, and ensuring user privacy and data protection. Social media platforms should also have a process in place for handling complaints and legal requests related to user content. The policy should be updated regularly to ensure compliance with any changes in the law or regulations.
